HANNOVER MESSE  

When: April 22 to 26  

Where: Hannover, Germany  

HANNOVER MESSE is an international trade fair and conference dedicated to industrial technologies. Industry trends in focus at this event include Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, carbon-neutral production, energy for industry, industry 4.0 and manufacturing-x, hydrogen and fuel cells. There is a special Startup Area that includes an expo, stage program and special events.

Wolves Summit CEE  

When: May 8 to 9  

Where: Warsaw, Poland + online  

Wolves Summit is a global platform that connects startups, investors and business. A series of events takes place throughout the year in various cities. Warsaw offers 2 intensive days of matchmaking and valuable content. Up to 60 meetings per day are offered in the Matchmaking area and online; plus tech-oriented lectures, keynotes, panel discussions, expo and workshops. Startups can also participate in the Great Pitch Contest and pitch in front of an audience. For your convenience, the event uses the Brella app available in the App Store and Google Play.

Tech.eu Summit London  

When: May 16 to 17  

Where: London, UK  

Tech.eu Summit London is the third edition of the Tech.eu Summit. London was chosen because of its status as a hub for tech companies, startup incubators and innovations. The event offers discussions with industry-leading speakers, networking opportunities, side events, dinners, and soirées. Startups can apply to participate in the Startup Stage alongside the main event. This is an opportunity to pitch and get a special space at the venue to demo a product or service.

Viva Technology  

When: May 22 to 25  

Where: Paris, France  

Viva Technology is one of the biggest startup-and-tech events in Europe, featuring fatures keynote speakers, panel discussions, startup pitches, and an exhibition area where companies showcase their products and innovations. Main themes are AI, ClimateTech, mobility, DeepTech, future societies, the creators’ economy and gaming. Every year the event is dedicated to one country, and this year it is Japan, showcasing its disruptive innovations and global tech leadership.   

For startups, event planners suggest VivaTech Startup Challenges, designed to identify and support innovative startups that have the potential to disrupt industries and solve complex problems. Startups have an opportunity to showcase their solutions, connect with industry leaders, and win prizes. Viva Technology has its own matchmaking platform and mobile apps on Google Play and App Store.

Dublin Tech Summit  

When: May 29 to 30  

Where: Dublin, Ireland  

Dublin Tech Summit is a fast-growing tech festival for dialogue, insights, and networking. The main theme is built around the concept of the future of machines, enterprise, us and the planet. Sessions and workshops cover a wide range of topics like AI, DeepTech, quantum computing, digital transformation, smart cities, cybersecurity, sustainability, futurism, startups, investments and much more. The event has a special startup program called ACCELERATE, enabling startups to exhibit their innovative products and ideas and potentially win the Startup World Cup pitch competition. The networking app will be launched a few weeks before the event.

London Tech Week  

When: June 10 to 14  

Where:  London, UK  

London Tech Week is a world-class hub of innovation with top speakers, immersive exhibitions and fresh insights. This year the event is expanding with a new venue at Olympia, new features, and a whole new experience. Key themes are AI, future of security and data, tomorrow’s talent, DeepTech revolution, green innovation, empowering entrepreneurship, healthier futures and social impact. Startups can showcase their solutions, meet investors, and participate in pitch competitions, workshops and mentoring sessions. London Tech Week offers participants the Turnbull platform, with its AI-driven matchmaking algorithm. Mobile apps are available on Google Play and App Store.

Women in Tech Summit  

When: June 12 to 13

Women in Tech Summit is the biggest conference in Europe for women in the field of tech and IT. The event features 5 stages, workshops, individual mentoring sessions and a Career Fair. This year’s theme is “Tech Life Balance,” which means leading topics include quantum computing, human-machine interactions, neurodiversity, Data Science, AI and ML, DeepTech, cloud solutions, digital ecology and cybersecurity.

Autumn 

TechBBQ  

When: September 11 to 12  

Where: Copenhagen, Denmark  

TechBBQ is one of the biggest Scandinavian events for innovators, business leaders, startups and entrepreneurs. This year’s main theme is “One Giant Leap,” which refers to the spirit of unity, the transformative impact of converging efforts, and symbolizes innovative efforts that allow every small idea and action to propel us forward towards a thriving and brighter future. There are several programs for startups to showcase, learn and win prizes: Tech Talent, matching relevant talents and an online workshop for startups, the Life Science Pitch Competition, a Startup Showcase for Nordic and Baltic early-stage startups, and the North Star Pitch and Playground for Hardware Startups from across the Nordics, Baltics, Benelux, UK & Ireland.  

Two days of panel sessions and discussions on 9 dynamic stages, located both indoors and outdoors, interviews, workshops, presentations and networking. Bits & Pretzels is a 3-day festival for startups, investors and businesspeople. It has several stages with their own thematic focus. There’s everything that startups may find useful: sessions with partners, insights on emerging technologies, vital entrepreneurial themes, funding strategies, and many others. All exhibiting startups are featured in the Startup book, and all this info is provided to attending investors. Startups can also participate in a pitch competition and potentially win the Golden Pretzel pitch award and massive media coverage. The event app is available on Google Play and App Store. Notably, Bits & Pretzels has its own tent at Oktoberfest, so all attendees with tickets can join.

Digital Transformation Week  

When: October 1 to 2

Digital Transformation Week is an event devoted to transformation infrastructure, the hybrid cloud, the future of work, employee experience, automation, and sustainability. It is a part of the TechEx Events and is co-located with expos for AI, Big Data, IoT, Blockchain, cybersecurity, cloud and edge computing. Speakers will share unrivaled industry knowledge and real-life experience in one-on-one presentations, expert panel discussions, and fireside chats. After registration, all attendees have access to the event’s AI-powered mobile and desktop app, which will launch two weeks before the event. GITEX Global is a tech and startup show to connect, innovate and forge lasting international partnerships. It encompasses a large-scale tech exhibition, conferences, workshops and networking sessions. The event covers a wide range of topics such as AI, 5G and intelligent connectivity, edge computing, cybersecurity, mobility, Blockchain, robotics and automation, sustainable technologies and much more. Startups have a chance to participate in the North Star Supernova challenge and win prizes from 12 different nomination categories.

Wolves Summit Europe

Wolves Summit Europe is the final event of the series this year. The Vienna Business Agency and the City of Vienna are cooperating partners for the event. In everything else, the event follows the same path as previous editions, with a similar program and the same opportunities for participants.

The event hosts over 10 stages with numerous content tracks from DeepTech, the future of work and supply chains, to sport, music and entertainment. Early-stage startups can apply to the ALPHA startup program and get opportunities to showcase their products and services. They get a free exhibition booth, access to networking events, mentorship sessions, and a chance to pitch their ideas to a global audience. Attendees can download the Web Summit mobile app from the App Store or Google Play Store after receiving tickets.

SLUSH  

When: November 20 to 21  

Where: Helsinki, Finland  

SLUSH is a significant startup and tech event in the Scandinavian region. Organizers have created an ecosystem to connect founders, entrepreneurs, investors, media, policymakers and other businesspeople. There are 4 stages, each one devoted to its own theme. Founder Stage is for founders and companies to share their stories, Horizon Stage features the most groundbreaking technologies and visionary insights, Builder Stage is for practical topics around company-building, and Startup Studio is where early-stage startups can showcase their ideas. In addition, startups can apply to the SLUSH 100 competition and startup booth.  

SLUSH has its own matchmaking platform and mobile apps on Google Play and App Store to explore the program, craft a personalized agenda, plan a schedule, book meetings and register for side events.

Immersive Tech Week

Immersive Tech Week is an event focusing on Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Web4, and other emerging technologies. It’s a place to communicate with industry visionaries and explore opportunities in immersive technologies. Highlights include the Church of VR, trade show, playground, an XR accelerator program called Impulse, Hackathon, the prestigious VR Awards, performance nights and social events.
