About the client

Tech startup from Europe 

Our client is a tech startup from Europe who came to DigitalMara with the idea of creating a mobile app to support health and wellness. The growth of digital health products is driven by the rising adoption of wearable devices, widespread distribution of mobile devices, an increase in chronic diseases, and a more conscious attitude toward maintaining health.

Challenge

The client had a prototype design and a basic concept but needed a clear roadmap to transform their idea into a fully functional MVP. Given the dynamic nature of startups, the project required flexibility to accommodate evolving requirements and feature additions. Our business analyst also carefully studied similar health applications available on the market. We noticed some weaknesses in the plan that were subsequently fixed. Compliance with strict health-related and security regulations further added to the complexity.

Approach

We defined key features and set priorities to develop a quality MVP version. A crucial aspect of the project was integrating a chatbot for user interaction. Drawing on our extensive experience in chatbot development, we considered time, budget, and the specifics of the chatbot. Eventually, an out-of-box solution was chosen. Since the app was designed for health purposes, we followed all accepted standards, such as software safety class A and GDPR policy. In general, the development process was dynamic. As this was a startup company, the requirements were constantly changing, and new features were added along the way.

Results

The client got a totally working, top-notch MVP in just 3 months that could be demonstrated to investors and tested among first users. The next stage will provide for adding new features and improving the user experience.
